Learning the craft continously

I am always a sucker for learning more about anything. Writing in Spokane has become easier.

There is an Inland NW Writers Guild which meets every third Wednesday at Aunties Bookstore.

There is also the Spokane Authors & Self-Publishers which meets at an Old Country Buffet in Spokane.

And there is Get Lit! which is a literary festival with writing workshops (in, you guessed it, Spokane, Washington).

I am deciding whether to attend any of the Get Lit! workshops. While the cost is nominal, they appear to be focused more on non-fiction, literary mid-shelf writing. Which is fine, but I enjoy writing what others wish to read. I am cursed, I suppose.
